The University of Wisconsin has a long standing connection to Israel. UW students flock to Israel on birithright israel trips each year.  Others travel abroad on year-long educational programs as part of study abroad, and a continuing quest of personal discovery.  Over the course of the 2005-2006 academic year, more than 110 Jewish UW students traveled to Israel for free with the birthright israel program.  To learn more about this intense 10-day experience click here.
