Below are some of the opportunities to study, celebrate and observe Jewish practice here at the UW.  For more information about study groups or individual study, please contact Rabbi Andrea Steinberger.

 

Spirituality Seminar

A six session seminar that will meet at Hillel.  Each week we will explore our inner lives through Jewish texts, guided writing exercises, and conversations.  We will focus on the topic of “Bringing God into my Daily Life.” For more information or to register contact Rabbi Andrea Steinberger 

 

Parshat HaShavua
This is an informal class that meets every Friday of the school year at Hillel; noon to 1:00 pm in which we study the Torah portion of the week and its commentaries. Taught in English and some Hebrew, it is open to beginners and students at every level. Led by Rabbi Andrea Steinberger. Please RSVP to asteinberger@uwhillel.org; begins Friday October 9.


 


Shabbat

Friday Night
Services (Conservative/Egal., Reform, and Traditional) begin at 6:00 pm; followed by FREE dinner at 7:00 pm.  Reserve your spot for dinner onlineShabbat services and dinner will begin on January 22,2010.

Saturday Morning
Be a part of our growing Shabbat morning egalitarian minyan on special Saturdays throughout the year at 10:00am.  FREE Kiddush lunch follows morning services.
