"If it weren't for Hillel, my Jewish experience on campus would be so different. In the past two years, I have become extremely active at Hillel. I got involved in JLF, became a UW Hillel Marketing Intern, worked the front desk, and am on the Student Advisory Board and Board of Directors. I am forever grateful to UW Hillel for shaping who I am as a leader, student, and Jew."
Peri C., Senior
At UW Hillel, there are many ways to get involved. Whether it be by attending Shabbat, learning in a JLF class, or partaking in one of many Jewish clubs, Hillel is the hub of Jewish life on campus.
Hillel has an abundance of events that always keep students busy. Every week, Hillel hosts Shabbat services and dinner (with a free meal for students!). Jewish holidays like Chanukah, Passover, and Purim are always a celebratory must at Hillel, with many students actually helping to plan the festivities. Additionally, at least once a semester, guest speakers come and discuss important topics ranging from Israel, to politics, to Jewish culture. Students are encouraged to actively participate and ask questions. Interested in any of the above? Register for our events here.
Not only does Hillel have amazing events, but Hillel also has amazing learning, leading and engagement opportunities.
