"Coming into college, I knew I wanted to stay connected to my Jewish identity. During my freshman year, whenever I walked into Hillel, I was immediately greeted. It felt like a welcoming environment where people genuinely wanted me to thrive. Now, working at the front desk, I get to bring that same positive energy to other students.
While it may sound cheesy, greeting everyone who walks in brings a smile to my face. Even if a student doesn’t react, I know I may have made a small positive impact on their day.
I couldn’t be more grateful for the UW Hillel community, who supports me through both my personal and professional journey."

"Hillel's Seder was amazing and one of my favorite events of the semester! The food was so good and I was surrounded by all my college friends who are not family!"

"I love how welcoming Hillel is to everyone who comes through our doors. Whether I’m hanging out with friends, celebrating holidays, or finding a quiet place to study, I always feel at home here, and it’s a place that keeps me coming back. I feel incredibly fortunate to have worked at the front desk for three years and to have spent that time greeting familiar faces as they walked in with a smile. I’m deeply grateful to have been part of a community that makes saying goodbye so hard as I graduate."

"I have a great time at the Krav Maga Class in the new Wellness Center. It has been the perfect wasy to destress, learn valuable skills, and get a great workout in!"
