Our Mission & Values

UW Hillel, at the Barbara Hochberg Center for Jewish Life, serves more than 5,000 Jewish students and faculty at University of Wisconsin–Madison. We foster a vibrant and inclusive community where every expression of Jewish life is welcomed and celebrated - religious, cultural, political, traditional, and alternative. At UW Hillel, we enable Jewish students at the University of Wisconsin to have a voice in their community - one that helps them maintain their ties to Judaism and the broader Jewish community.
