Elee Marie Sharp

As a multidisciplinary artist pursuing a BFA in Art at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, my attention is divided between fine metalsmithing, woodworking, and photographic processes. As a fourth-year undergraduate student, my practice is grounded in memory, family history, and personal possessions. Working with many materials, I reimagine mundane familial artifacts with a balance of childish playfulness and refined craftsmanship. With hints of curiosity, my work invites reflection on our relationships with identity and family.

Grace Melstrand

Grace Melstrand is a sophomore at UW-Madison, focusing on a double major in English and Psychology, as well as a certificate in Art. While she is from West Bend, Wisconsin, her art is largely inspired by her family's farm in a small town in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Her work explores themes of nature, memory, and nostalgia in rural spaces. She has been extremely passionate about the arts her whole life and has enjoyed being a part of various local displays, such as at the Museum of Wisconsin Arts, the Milwaukee Art Museum, and is excited to be participating in her display with the UW Hillel Center.
