FYSH (First Year Students at Hillel) is a peer-led cohort that creates programming tailored to the first-year experience. Our student committee plans events that bring first-years together, foster Jewish connection, and make navigating college a little easier and a lot more fun. From Shabbat celebrations to social gatherings, FYSH helps first-years find their people and their place at Hillel. Interested in joining the committee or attending our events? We'd love to have you!
Mission Statement:
FYSH empowers first-year students to build meaningful connections, explore Jewish life, and shape their college experience through inclusive, student-led programming. We cultivate a welcoming community where freshmen can grow socially, spiritually, and as leaders from day one.
